Linda Buxton Hilyer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2020, at the age of 67, Linda Buxton Hilyer of Cusseta, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edward Alton Hilyer; her parents, Kenneth Ray Buxton, Sr. and Claudie Buxton; her children, Art Thrower of Birmingham, Alicia Sheats (David) of Lanett, Jessie 'Bo Thrower of Opelika and Brandi Hilyer of Lanett; and her siblings, Pat Paul, Ken Buxton, Anita McBride (William), Barbara Kapser and Vanessa Crawford (Jackie).
She was previously Secretary of Lee County Board of Recreation and the Beulah Recreation Association as well as the President of Beulah School PTO in which she implemented and excelled at the talent show and donation achievement.
