It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Fowler Stringer of Cusseta, Alabama, who passed away on February 15, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Alicia Brooks of Cusseta, AL, Johnnie C. Stringer, Jr. of Cusseta, AL, Frank Stringer (Debra) of Lanett, AL, Willie Gene Stringer (Vickie) of West Point, GA and Jerome Stringer (Maxine) of Opelika, AL; her goddaughter Dale Roberson of Opelika, AL; her grandson Frederick "Pete" Stringer of Cusseta, AL; her great grandchild Makashia Brooks of Cusseta, AL; her great great grandchild Carmen Finley; and her sister-in-law Susan Locke of La Quinta, CA. She is also survived by grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren.
CDC recommends that people wear cloth face coverings in public settings when around people outside of their household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
