It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zelda Rose Lindsey of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnie Dunaway and Martha Jane Dunaway (McAlpine); her husband Clifford R. Lindsey; her son Richard J. Lindsey; and her grandsons, Corey Clifford and Mark Lindsey.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda J. McPherson (David), Clifford Mark Lindsey (Jill Silcox), Melanie A. Russell (Jerrold) and Karen Dawn Blackwood (Kim-Allen); her daughters-in-law, Patricia Lindsey and Karen Clark; and her grandchildren, Seth Lindsey (Amy Meeker), Jared Lindsey (Jennifer DeCora), Leslie Vest Hughes (Brian), Cassy Denise Dempsey (Dustin), David C. Hopper (Jessica) and Ryne H. Hopper (Jessica). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of many loving nieces and nephews.
