She was predeceased by: her husband George Mooney; her parents, Kenneth Guess and Wilma Guess; her sister Pat Crumbley; her nephew Scotty James; her grandparents, Darwin, Gladys Guess, Toll and Lois Kilgore; her grandchildren, Tori Welch, Kylie Smith and Dakota Lamons; and her brother-in-law Wayne Ridgeway.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Holmes (Jessica), Michelle Welch, Jackie Canales, Kim Looney and Melissa Smith; and her siblings, Janice Bean, Carolyn Rideway, Linda Smith, Debra Fowler, Teresa Whitlock (Kenny), Randall Guess (Rhonda), Danny Guess, Chris Guess and Joseph Guess.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Moss Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Moss-Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055).
