She was predeceased by: her parents, D. R. Philpot and Bernice Elvie Jones Philpot; her brother Charles Philpot; and her son Robert Lindsey. She is survived by: her children, Richard Lindsey (Jasmine), Phillip Lindsey (Pamela) and Deborah McMillan (James); her brother Wendell Philpot; and her grandchildren, Andria Stanford (Bobby), Robert Nicholas Lindsey, Kaleena Quick (Danny), Curtis Lindsey, Tyler Lindsey, Emily Lindsey, Rachel Singleton, Jennifer Lane (Ryan) and Adam Callaway (Judith). She is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
