Virginia Irene Lee Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2022, at the age of 83, Virginia Irene Lee of Cullman, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Stone and Josie Cofield Stewart; her husband Thermon Lee; her children, Virginia Diane, Mona Lisa and Randall Gene; and her siblings, Nell Gay, Freda Lindsey, Jane Tidmore, Ethel Stewart, Mary Stewart, Savannah McCroy, Della Creel, Fred, Till, Bill, George and Lee Stewart.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Swafford (Dennis); her grandsons, Corey Strickland and Adam Swafford (Allison); her great grandchildren, Alex Martin (Jana), Tori Swafford McCormick (Clint), Trey Strickland, Callie Swafford and Easton Swafford; her great great grandchildren, Dawsyn Williams, Rylan Williams, Carter Martin, Amberleigh Kirkpatrick, Asher Kirkpatrick, Mia Kirkpatrick and Atticus Martin; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Sams and Sue Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Lee's name to Brooks' Place Child Advocacy Center at P.O. Box 1252 Cullman, Alabama 35056.
