With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Epting King (Cullman, Alabama), who passed away on January 11, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lemuel Brooks Epting and Avis Wells Epting; her husband James A. "Hot" King; her daughter Jama Brooks; her grandson Graham Gaines; her son-in-law Eddie; and her brother Luther.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association, the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB or Brooks' Place Child Advocacy Center.
