He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred "Ted" Hallmark and Mary Ruth Burns Hallmark; and his granddaughter Ava Shelton. He is survived by: his children, Brandi Hallmark Shelton (Josh), Brittany Hallmark (Jamerson Godsey) and Stephen Bradley Hallmark; his grandchildren, Aaliyah Richardson, Aiden Sandlin, Adeline Shelton, Avery Shelton and Vandiver Godsey; and his sister Cynthia Hallmark Calvert (Ronald).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home (2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Warrior Cemetery (499 10th St, Warrior, AL 35180).
