With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Simeon Jonathan Calvert (Cullman, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Otis Calvert and Florence Dean Calvert; his wife Virginia Drinkard Calvert; his son Maurice Calvert; and his sister Betty Calvert Lowry.

He is survived by: his children, Rocky Calvert (Jane), Cathy Calvert and Roger Calvert (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Jonathan Calvert (Kim) and Baili Calvert Busby (Matt); his great grandchildren, Autumn Calvert and Forrest Calvert; his sisters, Mary Nell Calvert Crook and Glenda Calvert Shin (Dennis); and also Scooter.
