It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Douglas Buckelew of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jim and Dovie Lake; and his aunts and uncles, Pamela Buckelew, Randy Buckelew, Jimmy, Doris Lake, Dennis Lunsford, James and Betty Sue Walker.
He is survived by: his parents, Nicky Buckelew and Racheal Buckelew; his wife Lacie Buckelew; his sons, Colton Buckelew (Angel) and Karson Buckelew; his siblings, Veronica Wallace (Tim) and Jeremy Buckelew (Heather); his grandparents, Claud and Vivian Buckelew; his aunts, Paula Perry and Nora Lunsford; his nieces and nephews, Emma Buckelew, Bethany Murray (Daniel), Sydney Wallace, Andrew Wallace and Lakelan Wallace; his great-niece Caroline Murray; and his great-nephew Wyatt Murray.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem West Baptist Church (102 Co Rd 1215, Vinemont, AL 35179). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
