He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard L. Collier and Lois Lillian Brooks Collier; his wife Betty Plunkett Collier; his son Robert Curry Collier, Jr.; and his siblings, Fred Collier, Ralph Collier, Charles Collier, Willie Fay Lynch and Bertha Middleton.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Collier (Angie), John Collier (Carolyn) and Joann Bishop; and his sisters, Mary Sue Freeman (Leon) and Linda Yearwood (Charles). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
