It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Walter Collier (Cullman, Alabama), who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Collier and Frances Richard Collier; his sister Mary Theresa; his brothers-in-law, Mickey McDowell and Larry Sparks; and his aunt JoAnn Richard.
He is survived by: his son Richard Walter Collier Jr.; his grandson Wiley Collier; and his siblings, Leona "Babe" Wall (Bill), Margaret "Peggy" McDowell, Issie Young (John), MaryAnn Whaley (Keith), Sharon Collier, Joan Florence (Mark), Lonnie Collier Jr. (Carol) and Leonard Collier. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews, 68 great nieces and nephews.
