He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin August Kocurek and Loyce Cheatham Kocurek; and his brother Alvin August Kocurek, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Kocurek; his sons, Rick Kocurek (Emily) and Trent Kocurek (Terri); his stepsons, Benjamin Curths, Jacob Curths and Michael Curths; and his grandchildren, Sawyer Kocurek, Oliver Kocurek, Isla Kocurek and Tethys Curths.
