He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin T. Parker and Nellie Ruth Chandler Parker; his wife Elna Jearldine Parker; and his siblings, Doris Adkins, Carolyn White, Charlene Woods and Bobby Parker.

He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Sanford (Jeff) and Jerri Howell (Keith); his grandsons, Scott Sanford (Megan), Clint Sanford, Zachary Howell (Danielle) and Dylan Howell; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Sanford, Caleb Sanford, Lane Sanford, Emily Sanford, Jase Sanford, Liam Howell, Lily Howell and Lexi Howell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to CRMC Hospice or the United Cerebral Palsy Fund.
