It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Edker Schnelle of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Schnelle and Erin Carnes-Schnelle; his wife Rachel Louise Schnelle (Duke); and his siblings, Mae Bell Woods, Betty Lee Bagwell, Inez Schnelle, Edythe Schnelle, Lois Schnelle and Lewis Lee Schnelle.
He is survived by: his children, Paul D. Schnelle (Tina) and Margaret M. Chappell; his grandchildren, Kayla D. Whitaker (Forrest), Noah E. Chappell, Katlin Perkins (Zac) and Ronald Chappell; his great grandchildren, Sofiah, Izabellah and Lilyannah; and his brother Horace Schnelle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
