He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Bessie; his siblings, Retha and Harold; and his half-siblings, Ward (Ruby), Glen (Ella) and Grace Glaze (Edgar).

He is survived by: his nephew Danny; his wife Donna; his children, Brent, Phillip (Stephanie) and Letha Miller (Paul); his brother Rayford (Brenda); his sister-in-law Carolyn; and his grandchildren, Lillie, Emily, Elizabeth, Charlie, Jackson, Cara-Grace, Nora Katherine, Colt and Cade. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
