She was predeceased by: her husband Doyle Stricklin; her mother Freda Lindsey; her stepfather Donald Lindsey; her father Ervinn Hite; and her siblings, Mary Gillis (Hugh), Brenda Taylor and Neil Lindsey (Alice).

She is survived by: her daughter Teresa "Teri" Stricklin Rowan (Stuart); her grandchildren, Taylor Rowan (Jamie), Morgan Rowan Fonseca (Daniel) and David Minnick (Heather); and her great grandchildren, Braylon, Jayce, Zoey, Jayde, Lucas and Oliver.
