She was predeceased by: her parents, Claud S. Whaley and Lela "Ruth" Whaley; and her brothers, Larry, Gary and Dwight Whaley.

She is survived by: her son Thomas Joseph Hagan (T. J.); her sister Elizabeth Claudean Vinson (Steve); her significant other Peter J. Karp; and her grandchildren, Ford, Cora and Hattie Hagan.
