He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Tony, Audie Cramer, DeWitt and Estelle Pinkard; and his father Rudy Pinkard.

He is survived by: his mother Betty C. Cramer Pinkard; his children, Taylor Jackson, Van Pinkard and Colton Pinkard; his siblings, Jeremy Pinkard (Crystal), Wesley Luker, Ashley Shirley (Michael) and Latosha Underwood (Cody); his grandmother Shirley; and his aunt Trella Kinney (Roy).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
