She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Harold Srofe and Mamie Lee Boggs Srofe; her husband Howard Williams; and her son James Smelley. She is survived by: her children, Nettie Powers (George) of Munford, Opal Fuller (J. D.) of Alexander City, Rebecca Mabrey of Oxford and David Smelley (Starr) of Groveland, FL; her brother Roland Srofe (Nancy) of Venice, FL; and her sister-in-law Shirley Strofe of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
