She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Hurbert Dunn and Nora Gladys Oaks; and her husband James Schaefers. She is survived by: her children, Becky Weeks, Cindy Givens (Ricky) and Phillip Schaefers (Sharron). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Moss Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (205 3rd Ave SE, Cullman, AL 35055). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
