She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Hassell and Eva Gorham Hassell; her husband Harvey Lee Helton; and her son-in-law Jerry Sullins. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Helton and Polly Sullins; her grandchildren, Derrick Lovell (Dianna), Delisa Sullins and Renita Cook; her great grandchildren, Gail Huggins (Will), Kristina Fletcher, Brett Lovell, Joshua Lovell and Amber Calvert; her great great grandchildren, Alyssa Huggins, Amaya Heflin, Makayla Heflin, Carter Huggins and Liam Huggins; and her grandson Kayden Huggins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
