She was predeceased by: her parents, John Morgan and Lessie Bell Brown Lewis; her husband Clevie Hays; her daughter-in-law Jeanie Hays; and her siblings, Rayford Lewis, Max Lewis and Iva Nell McGriff.
She is survived by: her children, Loretta Hays and Wayne Hays; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hays (Kelly), Ryan Hays (Meredith) and Cory Goodlett (Olivia); her great grandchildren, Mason Hays, Cidney Hays, Aiden Hays, Maci Hays, Gatlin Goodlett, Collins Goodlett and Tristan Ziannis; and her great great grandchild Parker Russell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holly Pond Funeral Home (161 Brooklyn Rd, Holly Pond, AL 35083). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope #2 Baptist Church (2290 Co Rd 1682, Cullman, AL 35058). A burial was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at the New Hope #2 Baptist Church Cemetery (2290 Co Rd 1682, Holly Pond, AL 35083).
