With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Luan Atkins of Cullman, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Atkins and Macey Atkins; and her brother Bob Atkins. She is survived by: her daughter Megan Apel (Kurt) of Cullman, Alabama; her grandchildren, John Henry, Macey and William; her brother Tom Atkins (Vickie); her sister-in-law Chum Atkins; her nieces and nephews, Jeff Atkins (April), Kelly Paulk (Trent), Macey Atkins, Gunner and Ryder Atkins; and her close friends, Margaret Hitt, Brenda and Kenny Goodwin.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to St. John's Evangelical Protestant Church, Mission 150, 512 Second Avenue SE, Cullman, Alabama 35055.
