He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Freeman Goodwin; and his parents, Byrl Goodwin and Dovie Hicks Goodwin. He is survived by: his children, Donna Goodwin Brummett (Lee), Terry Goodwin (Hilda), Barry Goodwin (Shelia) and Mark Goodwin (Laura). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
