Linda Lou Moody Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Lou Moody of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on October 26, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Shoemaker and Inez Gorham Shoemaker; her husband Jimmy Moody; her grandparents, Grover, Hester Gorham, William and Martha Shoemaker; and her half-siblings, Ernest "Loyd" Shoemaker, Jr. and Anita Shoemaker.
She is survived by: her sisters, Brenda Young (Raymond) and Katye Delashaw; her niece Jennifer Harris (Matthew); and her nephews, Jonathan Young, Jeffrey Young, Jeremy Young and Tyler Delashaw (Darian).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in honor of Linda to Oak Level Baptist Church: 1272 Co. Rd. 1635, Cullman, AL 35058.
