He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wayne and Sena Ray Westmoreland Purser; his daughter Kendra Johnson; his brother Bill Purser; and his son-in-law Brandon Barnett.
He is survived by: his pet Scooter; his daughter Amber Barnett; his grandsons, Walker Johnson, Weston Barnett and Warner Barnett; his close friend Cindy Powell-Purser; his sister Elizabeth Williams; his nieces, Caitlin Williams and Kylie Williams; and his great-nephew Meyer Petty.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
