She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Auburn and Anna Bell Turner Laurence; and her husband Rev. James "Jim" Palmer. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Whisenant (Don) and Annette Johnson; her brother Buell Joyce; her grandchildren, Alexis Chadderdon (Patrick), James Todd Young and Taylor Dunn; and her great grandchild Lily Fox.
