He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mary, Leroy Hallex, Chester and Della Ray Martin; and his brother-in-law Wade Wise.

He is survived by: his parents, Carol Hallex and Don Hallex; his grandmother Ruth Muskoph; his siblings, David Hallex (Jenny), Shane Hallex, Sharon McDaniel (David), Jennifer Winfrey (Bo), Beth Hallex, Marla Jordan (Brad), Joy Hallex and Donna Prestridge (Shawn); and his aunt Patricia Howse.
