He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Heinl Scott and James Huelett Scott; his wife Carolyn Ann Coker Scott; and his brother James "Shorty" Scott. He is survived by: his sons, Tim Scott (Jessica) and Todd Scott (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Adam Scott (Kelsey), Ashley Scott, Arleigh Grace Scott, Zane Scott and Kadie Scott; his great grandchild John Paul Scott; his friends, Eddie Peinhardt and Johnny Richter; and his niece Terri Scott Kimbrel (Jack).
