It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johney Odis Gilliland of Cullman, Alabama, born in Addison, Alabama, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Alma Morgan McCurley and Odis Gilliland; his grandson Zander Gilliland; and his siblings, Bobby Gilliland, Billy Gilliland, Carolyn Hayes and Patricia Oliver.
He is survived by: his sons, Jonathan Gilliland (Amanda) and Jake Gilliland (Emily); his grandchildren, Zoiey, Zada, Malcolm, Maggie, Maddox, Immanuel, Aubree, Graham and Clara James; his sister Debbie Smithson (Greg); and his sister-in-law Virginia Gilliland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
