It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thurmon Bishop of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on September 14, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen F. Bishop and Mary Clara Blackwood Bishop; and his siblings, Bill Bishop, Larry Bishop and Betty Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Faye Bishop; his daughters, Cheryl Gentry (Cary) and Jennifer Roberts; his brothers, Robert Theron Bishop (Bonnie) and Jerry Bishop (Ann); his siblings-in-law, Jim Davenport (Chris) and Annie Lou Waldrop; his grandchildren, Carissa Dell (Corey), Jesse Roberts and Alex Roberts; and his great grandchildren, Makaela Gentry, Alexis Dell and Christian Dell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
