It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Freddie Scott of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Newman C. Scott and Lizzie Bell Russell Scott; his siblings, Betty Lorene Jones, Eunice Turner and Gary Scott; his close friends, Diane and Dana Parker; and his brother-in-law Earl Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Moore Scott; his daughter Melanie Scott Daugherty; his brothers, Roy Scott (Kay) and Early Scott; his siblings-in-law, Doyce Jones, Lamar Moore and Carol Davis; his grandsons, Jonathan Daugherty (Laura) and Josh Daugherty (Kristi); his great grandchildren, Gunner Daugherty, Cannon Daugherty, Aaliyah Daugherty, Riley Daugherty, Bea Shaw and Briece Buxton; and his close friends, Gary and Janet Sawyer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
