He is survived by: his parents, Bill Adams and Dianne Shedd (Brent); his wife Sonya Mabry Adams; his children, Braxton Thompson, Morgan Adams, Caitlin Adams, Katie Velarde (Tyler) and Mabry Thompson; his siblings, Nathan Shedd (Megan), Laura Adams (Amy), Tammy Smith and Mandy Nails (Billy); and his grandchildren, Saylor Velarde of Jack Velarde, J. B and Arlow Adams.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055). The lying in state was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
