She was predeceased by: her parents, Parris Lester and Elizabeth Vance; her husband Noah Compton, Sr.; and her son Noah "Skip" Compton, Jr. (Janice). She is survived by: her sons, Pat Compton (Lisa) and Jim Compton (Luann). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
