He was predeceased by: his mother Goldie Tidwell. He is survived by: his father Noel Tidwell; his siblings, Frances Tidwell Williamson and Dale Tidwell; his wife Suzanne Rogers Tidwell; his sons, James Tidwell, Jr. and Judd Tidwell; his brother Robert Tidwell, Sr. (Rudene); and his brother-in-law Don Williamson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and life-long friends.
