He is survived by: his wife Betty Graves Hays; his children, Shane Bailey (Julie), Josha Bailey (Jamie), Clarissa Bailey (Eddie), Jodie Cruz (Adan) and Jackie Cruz (Efrain); his brother Bill Hays (Kristie); his grandchildren, Austin Bailey (Hannah), Mackenzy Nix, Sadie Bailey, Abby, Lilly, Ashanti George, Ariiannah Parker, Amiiyah Parkes, Nicholas Bailey, Malachi Bailey, Noah Bailey, Addie Bailey, Malaysia Bailey, Robin Hood, Katana Hood, Miguel Cruz, Jonathan Cruz, Nayehtzy Acosta, Auburn Weaver, Alex Cruz and Omar Cruz; his great grandchildren, Juniper Bailey and Miles; and his nephews, Chris Hays (Darlene), Larry Hays and Tyler Hays. He is also survived by his family and friends.
He was a member of Charis Community Church and attended regularly until Covid.
