He is survived by: his wife Dixie Nell Cheatham Hays; his daughters, Tammy Hopper and Angie Robertson (David); his grandson D. J. Robertson (Lakelee); his great grandchildren, Kallyn, Banks and Baylor Robertson; and his siblings, Ethridge Hays (Barbara), Chrystal Clements and Mary Lou Hooper.
