He was predeceased by: his father Francis Springer; his parents-in-law, Dorothy and Virgil Allred; and his pet Darby. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Jason (Laney) and Jamie Springer; and his siblings, Joyce Hardeman (Don) and Jim Springer (Cheryl). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel (1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (217 2nd St SE, Cullman, AL 35055). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the East Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
