He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Montgomery and Viola Montgomery; and his siblings, Howard Montgomery, Earl Montgomery and Patty Atherton.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Montgomery; his children, Jonathan Montgomery (Jessica Santiago), Gordon Whatley and Jacqueline Whatley Wilson; and his brother Paul Montgomery (Charlsie). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
