For Imogene Shannon Duke is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Shannon and Rachel Bales Shannon; her husband James Duke (Tom Garrard); and her sons, James Duke, Jr., Terry Lee Duke and Denny Ray Duke.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Duke (Joyce) and Doris Duke Jacobes; and her sisters, Hazel Self and Peggy Sue Shackles. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
