She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Ponder and Annie Ponder; and her son-in-law Dr. Paul Freeman. She is survived by: her husband Sonny Mullins; her children, Beth Freeman and Stacey Mullins (Stephanie); and her grandchildren, Emily Mullins, Austin Mullins and Natalie Freeman.
