She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas "Jack" Freeman; her parents, Altie Duke and Clifford Duke; and her siblings, Buddy Duke and Louise Drummond.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Freeman (Debra) and Vicki Akers (Ron); her brother Horace Duke; her sister-in-law Elsie Garmon; and her grandchildren, Hollie Taylor (Patrick), Britt Akers, Brad Freeman (Lana) and Andrea Allen (Jason). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Level Baptist Church (1272 Co Rd 1635, Cullman, AL 35058). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at the Oak Level Cemetery (1272 Co Rd 1635, Cullman, AL 35058).
