It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Franklin Johnson Sr. of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on September 26, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Ann Johnson; and his siblings, Alice L. Johnson, Hattie McCormick, Annie Mae Newman and James Roosevelt Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Stella Mae Phelps, Mary Ann Prestridge (James), Annie McGhee (Gary), Peggy Murphree (Wayne), George Jr. Johnson (Danni) and Paul Johnson (Tiffany); and his sister Ruby G. Treadaway. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
