He was predeceased by: his father Alvin R. Twilley; and his former wife Marie Twilley. He is survived by: his mother Merdie Twilley; his wife Glenda Twilley; his children, Christopher Skipper, Danny Harris and Jamie Harris (Cherrie); his grandchildren, Summer Harris, Anna Harris, Arleigh Harris, Jade Banks and Zander Taylor; and his siblings, Bruce Twilley and Shelia Simmons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
