It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emmerson Dale Schoonhoven of Cullman, Alabama, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schoonhoven and Elsie Schoonhoven; his former wife Joyce; his sons, Steven and David; and his brothers, Donald and Earl.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Sevey (David) and William McIntosh; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Daniel, Norma, Dana Humphrey (Tim), Nathan McIntosh, Andy McIntosh and James Sevey; and his daughters-in-law, Cristy Scurlock (James) and Fran Karstaedt (Glenn).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Emmerson Schoonhoven designated specifically for Em's cousin Linda Craft and her husband Jonathan of Friends of Israel Gospel Ministries.
