It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elgin Luther Guthrie of Cullman, Alabama, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, H. R. Guthrie and Lois Marie Guthrie; and his siblings, Eugene Guthrie, Elvin Guthrie, Edis Guthrie, Vivialene Moon, Imogene Nelms, Eldagene Roberson and Anita Guthrie.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie White Guthrie; his daughter Rhonda Hogan (Edwin); his grandsons, Brett Hogan (Lauren) and Blake Hogan; and his siblings, Harlie Elwin Guthrie (Cheryl), Willodean Jones and Sherry Graves (Tony). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel (461 US-278, Cullman, AL 35055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Lystra Baptist Church building fund.
