He was predeceased by: his parents, Milze Dismukes and Omie Crumbley Dismukes; his wife Faye NeSmith Dismukes; his son Harrol Lloyd Dismukes; and his siblings, Hulett Dismukes, Agnes Wilcutt and Ann Howard.
He is survived by: his close friend Betty McWhorter of Decatur. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
