She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Reese and Esther Reese; her husband Fred Rice; and her siblings, Ottis Reese, Elbert Reese, Gladys Reese, Jewell Cowin, Pearl Allen and Eva Bartlett.
She is survived by: her close friends, Doris Calvert, Custa Harper, Vonne Gentry and Melissa Harbinson. She is also survived by eight nieces, two nephews.
