He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Krenzel and Elizabeth Erck Krenzel; his siblings, Walter (Eileen), Randy (Cathy) and Jan; his brother-in-law Ron Gother; his daughter Dona Joan Krenzel; and his son-in-law Terry Neal.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wolf Krenzel; his daughters, Jodi Anne Neal, Newark of Ohio, Elizabeth Couch (Daniel) of Placitas, NM and Lisa Hulsey (Buddy) of Cullman, AL; and his grandchildren, Jenna, Rachel Couch of New Mexico, Justice, Judah and Shiloh Hulsey of Alabama.
